A healthy marriage requires conscious daily effort to survive and thrive.
In honor of that, I just wanted to share with you a few ideas on how you can show your husband some love. Show your spouse what he means to you by going that extra mile to show him how much you love and appreciate him.
Don’t forget that grand gestures are awesome, but even the simplest of loving expressions can do wonders for the health and well being of your relationship.
Try these fun suggestions to show your husband love:
1. Say Thank You! A little appreciation goes a long way.
2. Give an unexpected kiss. I am talking a real one!
3. Send the kids to Grandma’s and have a stay at home date night.
4. Watch the kids so he can go to the gym or have guy time.
5. Give him a shoulder massage.
6. Wear his favorite T-shirt (and that’s it)!
7. Tell him how much you desire him.
8. Send a very sexy text. Then Follow Thru!
9. Sit down with him and watch the game.
10. Initiate intimacy!
Being happily married is a daily choice. You cannot sit back and hope for a happy marriage, you have to create one!

Beautiful post with some great tips on how to show love. Its interesting that ‘say thank you’ is at number 1 on your list here. Coincidentally, I wrote on gratitude and how important it is to say thank you 2 days ago. I think generally men love surprises and giving an unexpected kiss is just one of them. Stopping by from SITS blogging sharefest.
Hi Yvonne!Thank you for stopping by! And thank you for your kind words. I do find that showing daily appreciation is one of the key factors to keeping a relationship strong. Heading over to check out your blog now 🙂
My bf LOVES #6 and thankfully he doesn’t watch sports but I do get to enjoy watching him play his PC nerdy games. 🙂 Have a great one -Iva
We all love it when the person we love takes an interest in our hobbies. Even if it is just sitting back and watching him play his “pc nerdy games” 🙂 Thank you for stopping by!!!
It’s so true, that taking action to make your marriage happy is a daily choice. I love your suggestions, especially #2. We can easily get caught up in the day-to-day stuff, and forget the power of kissing! 🙂
So true! The little things that used to come easy when we were dating can easily fall by the wayside after years of marriage. But, it was those little things that made us fall in love in the first place.
Thank you for stopping by!
So right! I’ve found (and heard from friends) that this is especially true during pregnancy (and especially during a first pregnancy), when our husbands feel so much more protective of us, don’t want to appear pushy, and may be unsure of what they are supposed to do. It’s a time that they need encouragement.
Pregnancy and children can certainly change the dynamics of a relationship. Men often get fearful that they will be left behind when a little one joins the family. It is an important time to remind him that you love him and desire him. Thanks for taking a moment to stop by and comment!
Great list…I am always looking for encouraging reminders of ways to love on my husband well! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
